This step-by-step guide describes how to use the punch clock system to record employee work logs and switch activities using the Android or iOS mobile app.

You can choose to scan employee badges as well as select employees from a list. For more information on employee badges, see How to Print Employee Badges.


Punching In or Switching Activities

You can also punch employees in from the Harvest Input screen. For more information, see Recording Piecemeal Harvest.

  1. Log in to the Android or iOS mobile app on your device.
  2. From the dashboard, tap the Punch Clock option from the list.
  3. From the Punch Clock menu choose Punch In / Switch.
  4. From the Punch In page you can choose one or more employees from the list, or tap the barcode icon to scan employee badges.
    1. Tapping a work crew will select all the employees under that crew.
    2. On the Scan Badges screen, the employees' names and badge numbers will appear in the list below the camera view as they're scanned. Tap Done when finished.
  5. Once employees are selected, tap Next to proceed.
  6. From the Punch In form choose the Start Time and whether to Flag as piece work.
    1. You may select a Block, Activity, Event, Category and Equipment if applicable.
  7. Tap Save. A message should appear saying the punch was successful.

Punching Out

  1. Log in to the Android or iOS mobile app on your device.
  2. From the dashboard, tap the Punch Clock option from the list.
  3. From the Punch Clock menu choose Punch Out.
  4. From the Punch Out page you can choose one or more employees from the list, or tap the barcode icon to scan employee badges.
    1. Tapping a work crew will select all the employees under that crew.
    2. On the Scan Badges screen, the employees' names and badge numbers will appear in the list below the camera view as they're scanned. Tap Done when finished.
  5. Once employees are selected, tap Next to proceed.
  6. From the Punch Out form choose the Punch Out time, and optionally choose to Record Lunch. Enter the Start Time and Duration to record a lunch break period.
  7. Tap Save. A message should appear saying the punch was successful.
